PRE-NURSERY (TODDLERS) SECTION

St. Columba School believes in providing a child-centric education. Pre-Nursery (Toddlers) stage is the foundation of every child’s basic education. At this stage, the child is introduced to the basic skills of learning through the Play-Way method. Through innovative, interactive learning processes, children learn the alphabets along with numbers. Pre-Nursery (Toddlers) section has been made very effective and interesting so that children start loving the idea of being in school every day. To make this possible, classrooms have been designed with a lot of intricacies, books and activity centres, and made learning more interesting, it is supplemented with story telling, conversation, projects, rhymes and various teaching aids.

PRE-PRIMARY SECTION

Pre-primary education encompasses educational and teaching services for children. Kindergarten is the first formal educational framework to which children are exposed, and it is here they develop the attitudes that will affect their integration into the education system where they will spend much of their time in the coming years.

St. Columba Girls High School is committed to providing a positive learning environment which recognizes the uniqueness of all children and enables them to realize their full academic, moral, physical and social potential, thereby producing happy, confident children equipped to take their rightful place in society as well balanced, responsible and independent adults. We aim to achieve excellence in education. Our School’s peaceful and well-secured grounds, together with our team of dedicated teachers, provide a safe and caring learning environment for our young learners.

Pre-Primary section of St. Columba Girls High School consists of four levels i.e Pre-Nursery (toddlers), Nursery, Sr. KG and Jr. KG.

PRIMARY SECTION

The transition from Pre-primary to Primary is a huge leap. In the Pre-primary the little toddlers get individual care and attention while in the primary the little girls encounter a competitive environment. St. Columba Girls High School ensures that this transitional stage of schooling is enjoyable at the same time meaningful. To ease and acclimatize the little students, teachers take special care while planning the curriculum. At Primary Section, Students are taught to think critically, to strive to attain high standards, to meet the challenges posed by technological advancements and to develop basic values. It is here children learn to socialize outside family relationships. Our school provides a welcoming, nurturing, challenging and a safe learning environment in which all children from I class to V are actively engaged.

Our mission is to make our Primary Section a great learning place for all students and to ensure every child’s success.
